New online: Reading traces in Thomas Mann's library

In an innovative project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation, all the reading traces in Thomas Mann's estate library at the Thomas Mann Archive and the ETH-Bibliothek were digitised and made accessible from 2016 to 2019. A follow-up project clarified the legal situation of all digitised volumes and expanded the database so that the already free content can be made accessible online. From 8 September 2020, the Thomas Mann Archive at ETH Zurich will make the estate library online with the rights-free titles available to the public for the first time: https: //nb-web.tma.ethz.ch The content of the titles that are still protected can still be viewed on site at the Thomas Mann Archive.
